Hi, I’m Ola and it’s an honor to meet you! As a freelance photographer, I specialize in capturing commercial fashion trends, beauty shots and nature scenery. I enjoy taking pictures outside and help showcase a client’s personality through memorable events such as Birthdays, Graduations, etc.I currently reside in Philadelphia, PA and when I’m not outside taking photos, I’m inside pursuing my Masters of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology, with a focus in Neurological/Trauma Pediatric care. I’m also a singer-songwriter under the pen name, Indigo Asaá.
Fun Facts About Me:
-I was first introduced to photography classes in the 11th grade and continued in college at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ.-My first official “camera” was an iPhone 7 Plus. I couldn’t afford a digital camera and started utilizing the #shotoniphone tag. I learned how to Photoshop, edit, and stylize video clips following other photographers' advice.
-My favorite types of glamour shots are beauty close-ups in black and white.
-I chose my photography name as “Captured By Her” based on what I believe is the best way to approach any photo: “a beauty caught in the moment where you have no choice but to look, admire, and eventually capture”.
-I use a Canon EOS Rebel T3i aka “Old Bessy”.
-The logo colors green, white and black for Captured By Her have a personal meaning to me. Green represents natural wealth, while white represents peace (a nod to my Nigerian ties), and black representing power, elegance and sophistication.
